The week I received the Kitchen Gizmo Magnetic Salt and Pepper Shaker Set to test and review. This is a cool salt and pepper shaker set. When you are done using the pepper or salt put the shaker back on the base and the magnet in the base pull the shaker shut. Since the shaker shuts close the salt and pepper stays fresh longer. The base and shaker have a nice stylist design. Directions are printed on the box on how to fill the shakers.
The shakers have a window so that you can see when the salt or pepper just low. The shaker has several holes around the top that you can get plenty of salt or pepper. The lids are a little difficult to place back on the shaker, but the good side is that they have a good seal. Unfortunately no where in the descriptions or on the box does it say what materials are used to make the shakers. The shakers don't completely close but does limit the amount of air that can get in the shakers.

The base is solid and has a decent amount of weight. The magnet in the base is strong and holds the shaker well.
